Keep museum visits, crafts, nature outings and shopping simple: choose one main destination and one nearby stop, then check whether an offer is free, purchase-based or eligibility-limited.
Start with the November and region filters on the events page. Add the free filter if needed; free admission does not cover food, parking or separately ticketed activities.
Choose one main destination for your date
Open the November filter, then narrow by culture, outdoors, food or family.
- Nov 1: compare OMCA and Asian Art Museum admission coverage, then choose one instead of rushing across the bay.
- Nov 3–10: the Conservatory, BAMPFA, SJMA, Computer History Museum and Botanical Garden have different dates and eligibility; use the cards below.
- Nov 11: Muir Woods’ entrance waiver does not cover parking reservations; Chili’s free entrée is limited to active military and veterans.
- Nov 14: choose a Lowe’s store and an available Holiday Engine slot; MoAD’s free museum admission is another option.
- Nov 15: check the list for confirmed nature or community programs. If weather cancels an outdoor activity, choose an indoor alternative in the same area.
The 101-city directory distinguishes in-city, nearby and cross-boundary places, helping you add a manageable nearby stop.
Verified November free days and conditional offers
Check eligibility and expiry first; reservations and remaining order quotas are not guaranteed.
Confirmed for this month includes only entries with a clear validity period that haven't ended. Next-month previews and sessions requiring local confirmation are listed separately.
