Four dates with different highlights

Seasonal baking demonstration with Flour Craft(opens in a new tab)

October 10, 11–11:45 am. Free demonstration; books and market purchases cost extra. Heather Hardcastle demonstrates seasonal baking in front of the Ferry Building, followed by a cookbook signing. Samples do not constitute a free meal.

Día de los Muertos and Halloween at Mission Community Market(opens in a new tab)

October 29, 3–7 pm. Free community activities; vendor food and shopping cost extra. An after-school market with crafts, costumes and seasonal food activities; DJ Lamont plays 5–7 pm. Vendor foods such as pan dulce and mole are sold separately.

Fall fruit tasting and Mexican baking at Ferry Plaza(opens in a new tab)

October 31, 11 am–1 pm; demonstration 11–11:45 am. Free activities and samples; market purchases cost extra. Taste fall fruit, collect recipes and vote for favorites at the orange tent. Sofía Jiménez of Tutuli demonstrates baking at the green Classroom tent at 11 am.

Mission Community Market: final day of the 2026 season(opens in a new tab)

November 12, 3–7 pm. Browse the market; produce, food and goods cost extra. Foodwise confirms November 12 as the last market of 2026, with a planned return in March 2027. Shop for seasonal produce; extra performances or free meals have not been announced.

Green tent for demonstrations, orange for fall-fruit samples

The green Foodwise Classroom tent is directly in front of the Ferry Building. On October 31, the orange Seasonal Spotlight tent hosts fruit activities from 11 am–1 pm; the Tutuli demonstration is 11–11:45 am in the green tent.

Mission’s market street and final date

Current visitor information places the market on 22nd Street between Mission and Valencia, while the footer retains 84 Bartlett. Follow current directions and signs. November 12, 3–7 pm is the confirmed 2026 finale; do not continue applying the Thursday schedule afterward.
