  • California’s election is Nov 3, 2026, with polls open 7 am–8 pm. Regular online or postmarked voter registration is due Oct 19.
  • Eligible citizens who miss the regular deadline can conditionally register and vote at a county elections office, polling place or vote center; ballots are counted after verification.
  • Hand-delivered ballots are due by 8 pm Nov 3. Mailed ballots must be postmarked by Nov 3 and received by the county elections office by Nov 10.
