SCCLD introduced two limited-edition San Jose Sharks “Turn it All Teal” card designs on September 1 at its libraries and Bookmobile. Ask your branch about current stock, exchanging an existing card and any availability in October.

Check which library system you are visiting

This announcement is from the Santa Clara County Library District: start with SCCLD branches such as Cupertino, Milpitas or Campbell. San José Public Library (SJPL) is a separate system; the Sharks name does not mean every San José branch carries these cards.

Make the card useful beyond its design

Editor suggestion: check card types and required documents before applying, then ask a librarian to demonstrate holds or digital-resource login. Existing members should ask how exchanging a card affects their account. The September 8 Sharks storytime mentioned in the announcement has already ended.
