North Court Street parking at Radke Martinez Regional Shoreline connects to the official 0.95-mile Killdeer/Duckpond Loop, with paved and natural surfaces. October hours are 8 am–6 pm for the main lawn and picnic area, and 8 am–5:30 pm at Grangers' Wharf. Parking is free.

Editorial plan: 60–90 minutes from one entrance

  • Meet near 300 N. Court Street, confirm the parking area's closing time and restroom location, and use the official short-loop map.
  • Observe the wetlands along open Killdeer and Duck Pond sections, using two stops for birdwatching. Turn back if the surface does not suit your stroller.
  • Plan your return before the parking area closes and rest at the starting point. Avoid an unplanned extension to another entrance just because trails connect.
Current algae advisory: observe from shore and avoid pond water

At this check, the park page displays a blue-green algae Danger Advisory. Follow official water-quality notices and avoid contact with affected water. Dogs are also prohibited in the duck pond and marsh areas. For a dog outing, choose a route confirmed to allow pets.
