Mission: expected elevator return delayed again

On September 22, BART moved the expected return of the 24th St. Mission street-to-concourse elevator to October 23. The platform elevator still operates, but this does not provide step-free street access. Check 16th St. Mission or Glen Park and Muni 14, 14R or 49 connections. Recheck elevator status before travelling; the return date is an estimate.

West Oakland: agree on the new pickup location

Construction from September 14 removes about 240 spaces, leaving around 200 first-come daily spaces, including 11 accessible spaces. Regular pickup moves to southbound Chester at 7th and westbound 7th at Center. Accessible pickup remains in front of the station. Cyclists and bus riders should also check the updated official map.

Yellow Line on October 4: allow extra time for the return trip

Vegetation work near Pleasant Hill is scheduled until 6 p.m. that Sunday, with 10–15-minute Yellow Line delays expected. Editor suggestion: save your return options before heading to a festival or market, and use the day’s journey planner when you have a timed reservation.
