San Francisco Fleet Week
The detailed 2026 calendar is published: see the ship parade on October 9, the air show on October 9–11, or choose weekday ship tours and neighborhood concerts. Plan around individual events rather than expecting flying every day.

Details to plan before you go
- 01
The air show runs Oct 9–11, noon–4pm daily; the Oct 9 ship parade runs 11am–noon. Marina Green general admission is free, with VIP viewing sold separately.
- 02
Free visits aboard docked ships are first-come, first-served; these are not sightseeing cruises. Piers 27 and 35 list Oct 8 and 10–11, 10am–4pm; Pier 35 lists Oct 12, 9am–noon. No ship visits are listed for Oct 9.
- 03
For visits aboard the ships, wear closed-toe flat shoes; adults should bring valid government ID and visitors 17 and under need an adult. Strollers, food and liquids are prohibited, with no storage available. Official pages disagree on Pier 35 access on Oct 7; reconfirm before choosing that day. Ships have steep ladders and uneven surfaces; ask about pier alternatives for limited mobility.

Editor tip: focus on one waterfront area per day, bring wind protection and children’s ear protection, use transit and allow for queues. Flying is subject to weather and operational changes.
