San Mateo On Ice: an outdoor rink in Central Park, skates included

Ages 4+, skates included, skate buddies for beginners

San Mateo On Ice is a seasonal outdoor rink in Central Park downtown; public-skate tickets include skates, for ages 4 and up. The ticket calendar has noon and evening sessions on both weekends around Christmas and the weekend after New Year.

Before you go

  • Saturday evening sessions start at 5:30pm and Sunday ones at 5pm; the end time shows when you pick a session.

  • Beginners can rent a plastic skate buddy, bookable ahead for the first hour and first come after that.

  • It is outdoors, so dress for the weather; tickets are final sale.
