Anyone can use participating branches’ Seed Libraries without a library card. Take only what you need for the season. Varieties and quantities change, and seed donations are optional.
How to use this benefit
Check the Seed Libraries list for a branch such as Almaden, Berryessa or King. Choose available seeds and record your name, seed varieties and suggestions. Call ahead for a particular variety. King has seeds in the first-floor Children’s Room and at the third-floor Reference Desk.
Check the official page for current eligibility, availability and participating locations.
