Marin Transit local buses are fare-free for everyone that day, with no purchase required. This does not automatically include Golden Gate, SMART, ferries, or other operators' services.
How to use this benefit
The official 2026/27 schedule lists October 7 as Clean Air Day, with local buses free for all riders. Check your outbound and return departures and stops. Fare-free travel does not extend service hours; check other operators' fares separately.
Check the official page for current eligibility, availability and participating locations.
