Check eligibility first

Reserve a physical parking pass with your library card and collect it at a branch. Mount Tam, Marin Water and state parks use different passes. Coverage is limited to listed locations and applicable day-use fees, not general camping access.

How to use this benefit

Choose the park first: the Marin Water pass covers Sky Oaks, Bon Tempe and Lake Lagunitas; the Mount Tam pass lists Pantoll, Bootjack and other sites. Loans last one week and allow two renewals if no one is waiting. Display the pass as instructed when parked.

Check the official page for current eligibility, availability and participating locations.
