General admission is free on the first Sunday of each month, with no residency or membership requirement. Special exhibitions cost an additional $10; timed tickets are recommended. Small workshops may require separate reservations.
How to use this benefit
200 Larkin Street. The first-Sunday policy applies, and the official calendar separately lists 10/4 programs: mahjong 10:30–16:00, crafts 10:00–16:00, and stories and other programs at separate times. Free general galleries do not mean free special exhibitions or every separately run activity.
