San Jose Veterans Day Parade, the largest in Northern California
Downtown streets honour veterans and those serving now
Held since 1918 with support from the City of San José and Santa Clara County, San Jose’s Veterans Day Parade is the largest in Northern California and honours everyone who has served or is serving.
Before you go
It steps off at 12:00 p.m. sharp at Santa Clara Street and Almaden Boulevard, by the Highway 87 overpass, heads east on Santa Clara Street, turns right onto Market Street past Plaza de César Chávez and ends at San Carlos Street.
The route is about a mile and the whole parade takes about an hour and a half to pass; the information center is the blue canopy at Delmas Avenue and Santa Clara Street.
