Lunar New Year Basketball Jamboree 2027: youth basketball in Chinatown
Youth basketball in Chinatown; friends and family welcome
A Lunar New Year basketball tournament in Chinatown, started by retired Francisco Middle School principal Kenny Lee to give young players a tournament like the ones of his own Chinatown childhood; adult alumni referee and volunteer. The organiser invites friends and family to come and watch.
Before you go
Chinese culture theme: a Lunar New Year event, not a Chinese-language class; the organiser does not say whether help in Chinese is offered.
The 2027 game times are not out yet; the old banner shows an earlier year’s hours. The site states no entry rules for teams; contact details are on the official page.
