Castro Street Fair: Music, markets and neighborhood connections
The 52nd Castro Street Fair has published its 2026 stage schedule and added its first Family Zone. Enjoy local performances, beginner country dancing or story time with children while getting to know the neighborhood.

Runs Oct 4, 11am–6pm, with a suggested $10–20 donation; food and purchases cost extra. Editor tip: choose a stage or family activity and leave time for community booths.

The new Family Zone is on 18th Street near Diamond. Per Sia hosts Drag Queen Story Time from noon–12:30pm, with face painting and juggling also listed.

The Castro Stage hosts the SF Black Pride Showcase 11am–2pm. Sundance Saloon offers country dancing and short novice lessons at the Castro Theatre parking lot; use the official program to choose.

Take Muni Metro to Castro Station. The F line and routes including 24, 33, 35 and 37 have temporary changes; do not plan pickup around the F line’s usual terminus.
