Sausalito Goblin Jamboree: Halloween Play at the Discovery Museum

Turn a museum half-day north of the Golden Gate Bridge into a gentle Halloween outing, with creature crafts, a bug dig and nature-based mixing activities. An option for families who prefer hands-on play to late-night scares.

Details to plan before you go

    Held only Oct 3–4, 10–11, 17–18, 24–25 and 31. Members also need dated tickets; the Oct 16 evening fundraiser is separate.

    EBT/SNAP/WIC tickets are $10, purchased in person, up to four tickets. Library passes and ACM/ASTC discounts do not apply to this special event.

    The museum provides free parking. Navigate to 557 McReynolds Road in Fort Baker. Editor tip: bring spare clothes and a windproof layer, allowing time for the bridge crossing and parking.

  4. 04

    The event runs rain or shine. Check the dated ticket calendar for live availability and confirm ticket types, child age rules and closing time before leaving.
