Details to plan before you go
- 01
Start near the Railway Museum and Embarcadero Plaza. Use that day's Heritage Fun Map to confirm boarding points, routes, and vehicle locations.
- 02
Plan free vintage buses and streetcars separately from paid cable cars. The event offer does not make every Muni route free.
- 03
The museum is free to enter, with activities including coloring and button-making. Choose Saturday if historical bus displays are a priority.
