Books, CDs, DVDs and puzzles, sorted and cheap

The Friends of the Palo Alto Library’s monthly sale: three rooms with over 70,000 new and gently used books, plus CDs, DVDs and puzzles, all sorted and reasonably priced; proceeds benefit the Palo Alto libraries.

Before you go

  • On Saturday the Bargain Room opens at 9:30am, the Children’s Room at 10 and the Main Room at 11, all until 4pm; on Sunday all rooms are open 1–4pm.

  • In the Bargain Room paperbacks are $1 and hardcovers $2, and on Sunday its items are half price or $5 a bag; these prices apply in the Bargain Room only.
