Details to plan before you go

  1. 01

The main hub at James Kenney Community Center, 1720 8th Street, runs 10:00–15:00. Individual sports have separate time slots; not every activity is available throughout the day. Cycling and kayaking run 10:00–13:00 at BORP Adaptive Cycling Center, 80 Bolivar Drive. Climbing runs 12:00–15:00 at Berkeley Ironworks, 800 Potter Street. Allow additional time to travel between sites.

  2. 02

Advance registration is strongly encouraged and is required for transportation and climbing. A free accessible shuttle connects North Berkeley BART and all three sites; reserve limited spaces ahead. Climbing also requires a waiver. For other activities, visitors may complete a short form on arrival. Community members without disabilities are welcome to participate or watch. No universal minimum age is published; check with the organizer for the chosen sport.

  3. 03

A free community celebration with food, music, and games runs 15:30–17:30 at the main hub. This separate session does not make the daytime food-truck lunch free.
